When creating my multiple exposure images, I like to begin the blending stage of my process by setting all exposures to contribute equally. I frequently refer to this as equally weighting each exposure in the composite image. This is done by using the Opacity setting on each of the layers. To explain this in more detail, I start with the fundamentals of the Layers Panel in Photoshop. Then I discuss Opacity Blending and go into detail on how to equally weight each layer depending on the number of exposures in the multiple exposure image. I conclude with an introduction to Blending Modes. Opacity and Blend Modes can be applied simultaneously when blending exposures.
